Why Time Matters More Than Speed

Speed belongs to industry.
Time belongs to craftsmanship.

In my atelier, time is not measured in deadlines, but in gestures. The time it takes to align a profile. To test a light twice instead of once. To stop, look, and correct.

Working slowly is not a limitation — it is a choice. A way to preserve attention, intention, and respect for the material.

Every lamp carries the time it required to exist. That time remains inside it, invisible but present, shaping the way light behaves in space.

This is why no piece is rushed. And why none can be repeated without consequence.

Light, when treated with patience, becomes honest.
