Sculptural Floor Lamps
Sculptural Floor Lamps
Light is not decoration. It is structure.
A sculptural floor lamp is born when function becomes presence — when an object is designed to shape silence, walls, and shadow. At CristofaroLuce, each piece is handmade in our atelier in Bucharest (RO), signed by Tommaso Cristofaro, and built with a minimal language: strict lines, controlled proportions, and a light that never shouts — it guides.
These floor lamps are made for contemporary interiors where architecture matters: living spaces, studios, galleries, private residences, boutique hotels. They do not “fill” a room. They define it.
What makes them sculptural
- Designed as objects, not products
- Balanced geometry and negative space
- Indirect, atmospheric light that elevates materials and surfaces
- Made in small batches, finished by hand
A note on authenticity
Every small imperfection is not a flaw, but a trace of the hand that created it — a mark that increases its artistic value and soul.
Explore the pieces
Each sculptural floor lamp is conceived as an independent object, yet part of a coherent visual language. Below is a curated selection of pieces that embody this approach.
- Gica Contra floor lamp — a vertical presence designed to define space through controlled shadow.
- Gica Contra floor lamp 195 — an extended proportion that enhances architectural rhythm and wall interaction.
- Cornice — a luminous frame that transforms negative space into a quiet focal point.
