Every morning, there is a small pleasure that never fades: waking up and knowing that the atelier is waiting for me.
I open the door, step inside, and say good morning. Even if there is no one else there. It is a ritual. A way to mark the beginning of the day, to acknowledge the space where ideas and hands will meet.
The silence is never empty. It is filled with the sound of tools, alternating rhythms, pauses, and movements. Each noise has its own meaning. Each action has its time.
Assembly is the most delicate moment. A ritual that requires a different kind of concentration. Here, attention to detail becomes absolute. Every element must find its place, not only mechanically, but naturally.
Then comes the verification. I observe the object from the outside, slowly. I test it. I wait. I check if everything responds to my expectations — or if something still needs listening.
Packaging is not a secondary phase. It is an act of protection. Because all the work done — the hours, the care, the precision — must not vanish in the hands of a distracted courier. The lamp must arrive intact, carrying with it the dignity of the work behind it.
When a problem appears, when something must be accelerated or solved, I sit down. A simple sheet of paper. My inseparable pen. I write. I draw. Thoughts take shape, and from them, an instrument is born: a tool that did not exist before, created only to solve that specific necessity.
In the evening, when everything is quiet again, I turn off the lights. I stand at the door, ready to leave, and I say thank you. Thank you for the work we did today.
The atelier answers in silence. And tomorrow, it will be waiting again.
