A QUIET EXPRESSION OF LIGHT AND FORM.
Gica Contra Table Lamp transforms a simple architectural gesture into an intimate lighting experience.
Its restrained silhouette allows warm, indirect light to become part of the surrounding space, creating an atmosphere of balance, stillness and understated elegance.
Gica Contra explores the relationship between simplicity and presence.
Conceived as a luminous sculpture rather than a conventional table lamp, its essential geometry reflects the belief that light should shape the atmosphere without dominating the space.
Every element has a purpose. Nothing is superfluous.
THE SAME VISION, A MORE INTIMATE SCALE.
Born from the sculptural language of the original Gica Contra Floor Lamp, the table version brings the same exploration of proportion, shadow and indirect illumination into a more intimate dimension. Its reduced scale preserves the visual identity of the original while establishing a distinct relationship with furniture, objects and surrounding architecture.
- form
A slender architectural composition defines the silhouette of Gica Contra Table Lamp.
Its minimalist geometry creates a quiet sculptural presence, allowing the object to remain visually compelling even when the light is switched off.
The result is an exercise in proportion, balance and deliberate simplicity.
Light is the invisible material of Gica Contra.
Its warm, indirect illumination interacts with nearby surfaces, introducing depth and softness without visual excess.
The intensity can be adjusted to suit different moments, transforming the atmosphere while preserving the essential character of the design.
