User Guide & Troubleshooting
If your Cristofaroluce lamp is not functioning properly, here are some common issues and solutions.
1. Power Adapter Not Working
If the LED indicator on the power adapter does not light up when plugged in, the adapter is defective and needs to be replaced. You can find a compatible replacement in our Accessories section.
2. Remote Control Issues
If your lamp is not responding to the remote control, there are two possible reasons:
A. The Remote Needs to Be Resynchronized
Before assuming the remote is faulty, please follow these steps to resynchronize it with the lamp:
- Ensure the red light on the remote control is on when you press a button.
- If the red light is off, check or replace the batteries.
- Make sure the lamp is plugged in.
- Remove the pin from the controller once, then insert it back.
- Remove the pin again, count to 10 seconds, then insert it back.
- Press the ON button on the remote 4 times consecutively.
- The lamp should flash a few times, indicating a successful synchronization.
- The dimming function should now work properly.
👉 Why does this happen?
The remote control operates via radio frequency, and occasional desynchronization may occur due to external system changes in the environment.
B. The Remote Control is Defective
If resynchronization does not work, the remote control is most likely faulty and needs to be replaced.
3. Controller Issues
If the lamp is still not functioning correctly after replacing the power adapter and remote control, the controller may be defective. This is a rare issue, and we recommend contacting us for support. If needed, the controller can also be replaced.
